Keep away Malwares and Hackers by following few Steps

Hello ,
Here are the few steps which i usually feel that people ignore or don't take and get their system n data wrecked off and find themselves in problem.
Just simple tips could save ur daily business and keep u away from tension.

1.) A majority of people use Windows Operating System (win 2000,xp,vista, 7).
the thing to be noted is that whether you use Original or Pirated ?
this question is applicable to you if you are using a pirated version of Windows. As you Don't know what was the actual source and origin of your Windows.
As some of the groups in the Underground World Targets the innocent people they Upload an modified Image of the Operating System on the Torrents and Filehosting sites and Innocent people
download it and use it. they don't know that some nasty programs are their in the OS itself.
As some Notorious Groups have used this thing by Uploading Windows 7 image with bot pre embedded in it.
So buy original Softwares.

2.) Whether you have Original Windows or Pirated always Update your Operating system regularly this is very important part to safeguard yourself.
(for the people who don't know what to do for update- just right click ur My Computer Icon and click the properties at the end you will get a pop up window in like the image below).


here you have three options
> automatic download
>Download Updates but don't install
>Notify me but don't download or install
(never choose fourth one "turn off...")

Now if you have genuine windows you could select
Automatic Download and system will download and install updates automatically for you .

But if you have Pirated Windows then just choose
2nd or 3rd option.

the benifit of it is that when update comes you could
choose what to download and what to install on your system by clicking the sheild which appears at the bottom on right side of your system just click it and see what all updates are available and what all are necessary.( as window genuine Advantage tool also comes to your system from this route only i.e wga) so check the entries and always download the security patches as they latest viruses worms uses these loopholes which you don't patch.
Even Microsoft official's know that millions of people are using Pirated Windows on their system but they provide security patches for pirated system also so don't miss them. new worms will not be able to hit your system .

3.) An Antivirus software discussion is very common today in every computer users circle which AV is good which one is bad. AV(Anti virus) is very important part of your system as it is like defence system. As the Researchers work over new techniques and malwares on daily basis to safegurad the system from deadly virus whatever Antivirus you choose update it on daily basis.
it will safe guard you from the new threats. And never consider the Anti-Virus as the complete safety of your system b'coz Anti Viruses check for those malwares only which are known to them. it is like the same way how our police works they checks first for the known criminals only if any unknown person commits crime it becomes hard for them to find or even catch him . similarly Anti-virus works on your system, it safeguards from known threats and vulnerabilities.

4.)Always make the Backup of your system if something bad happens and your system breaks down you can get the data from your backup media. I have lost it 2-3 times so now i have made habit of taking backups.

5.)Everyone uses the removable media like cd, dvd, flash drives, USB hard Disk on their systems and this is the major transportation media of spreading Virus.
Always Scan your pen drives before using it. and never double click it.
As soon as you double click you pen drive the virus residing in it will get executed automatically
so instead of double-clicking right click the pen drive and click on explore by doing this virus in the pen drive will not get executed and pen drive will also get opened.



6.)Never visit unkown links of websites which comes in the mail as it could install Malwares and get control of your system as well as never download things from untrusted sources as the programs , softwares , songs and movies could contain viruses in them so always scan before installing or using them. Now a days web browsing malwares are very much active and they can even know the website you visit on daily basis , your likes and dislikes and personal detail and information about you. so beware of unknown links.

7.) Many a times while i am talking to people they ask about the mails they find in their mail box of lottery or any insurance agent who tells about the millions of dollars or pounds they can give to you, which is the insurance money of their client who has died and don't have any relative and
what he need in return is your Personal Details like Name, Father and Mothers name address proof phone numbers , mobile numbers , and latter on they will demand some amount of money for custom clearance and in this way they either take the money from innocent people or use their personal details for making fake id cards and identitties which could be selled out in under world for misuse. So never give your details on internet to anyone.

even mails of some bank will come for personal details like ur ID and passwords of ebanking all these mails are actually fake you will see that they never come from Authentic user , Bank people never ask you for ID and Password, if such mail comes to you mark it as spam and tell the Bank Officials about the matter neer give your information as the link they send you is not of bank website it looks like that but it is not and when you click the link it opens the page similar to the bank but that is never a real website its a copy just look at the top in URLBAR( where we type google.com and all) you will see that websites name in url bar will be like :
www.icic.i.com or icci.com or something like ici.ci$%20adawe$54saw42@#$324 .com a large name which you will not able to find , so beware of such people, this process of fooling is called phising on internet world (fishing : what we say is catching fish in the net) you are the fish which is caught on the internet. so don't be the one.

8.)Always use good and strong passwords. the passwords having mixture of small n capital letters, numbers and special symbols and it should be minimum of 8 characters in length as it becomes complex task for cracking the passwords.

9.) always update the softwares you use (like adobe reader, flash player, Internet explorer, mozilla firefox etc.) so that you could get security patches by which you could keep the worms and bad people away from your system.

10.) Never use ebanking facility on Cyber Cafe or Public Places as they are unsafe and you could loose all your money by doing such mistake.Don't share passwords with anyone and if you give for some reason just change it as soon as possible.
